Introduction: Aortic arch conditions, whether acute, subacute, or chronic, are complex and require a multidisciplinary approach. The combination of growing clinical experience and advancing technology has progressively led to improved outcomes. Objective: To describe the frozen elephant trunk technique in 10 steps, with the aim of standardizing its application across different surgical teams. Methods: A 10-step description of the surgical technique for implanting a frozen elephant trunk graft. Results: Standardized implementation of the procedure for implanting a frozen elephant trunk graft. Conclusions: The step-by-step description provides a uniform framework for implementing this hybrid approach to aortic arch treatment. Its adoption seeks to facilitate a reproducible technique that contributes to better outcomes in patients undergoing complex and hybrid aortic arch surgeries.
